CODE OF CONDUCT

LAAAWPPI’s mission is to prepare women for leadership in the areas of public policy, government and public affairs. Our women are groomed for success at every leadership level.

LAAAWPPI’s goal is to annually create and train a talented pool of women to be prepared to step into leadership positions at all levels. We convene a 10 week intensive program, hosted on the campus of University of Southern California which is taught by INFLUENTIAL AND RESPECTED corporate leaders, elected officials, campaign and public affairs consultants, fund raisers, community activists, legislative staff and APPOINTED LOCAL AND STATE commissioners.

THE CODE:
Mindful of our stature in the community, the respect we should have for each other as women, and, our regard for the reputation of LAAAWPPI., our pride in our personal and professional standing, and our obligation to empower women, it is expected that LAAAWPPI staff, board members, and students:

    • Conduct personal and professional relationships with awareness that, by agreeing to participate in the fulfillment of the organization’s mission, we assume responsibility for the honor of the LAAAWPPI community both internally and in the external world.
    • Recognize that within the organization each person takes part in a social contract that assumes the fair, responsive, straightforward, and courteous communication and behavior that persons of good will and mutual trust may expect from one another.

We will accomplish the above as we encourage future staff, board members, and students to become responsible citizens who will effect positive change in their own communities and work environments.
